In the Mustafar System, above the volcanic world of Mustafar. A world that Vader personally chose for himself and for good reason, as the planet housed a dark side locus that was strong with dark side energies. The planet itself was also powerful with the dark side of the Force. Above this locus, Vader built his fortress which was fittingly dubbed Fortress Vader. Above it all was the Supremacy, the sole Mega-class Star Dreadnought in the First Order's service. It had the colossal wingspan of 60 kilometers. It served as the flagship of the Supreme Leader and the mobile headquarters of the First Order. Now, regarding Mustafar. The dark side energies that festered there, along with interest of his grandfather, was the exact reason Supreme Leader Kylo Ren ordered his flagship, previously belonging to the First Order's previous Supreme Leader, Ren's former master, Snoke. The Supremacy was almost scuttled as most of the First Order didn't want to spend their already scarce resources to repair the ship splitting damage caused by Vice Admiral Holdo of the Resistance, a group Ren and the First Order saw as terrorist. That wretch not only heavily damaged the Supremacy, but she also took out twenty Resurgent-class Star Destroyers and all it cost the Resistance was one MC85 Star Cruiser and one life. Far from a fair trade. Concerning Ren's role in the Supremacy's fate he wanted it to be repaired to the reasons of it's great power as a ship, but also he stated that the Supremacy represented the entire hope of the First Order's dream for a galactic wide control and order. So the Supremacy was made again fit for battle thanks to a mix of the intimidation and logic Ren held over his subordinates. The Supremacy had eight Resurgent-class Star Destroyers, six docked externally, two docked internally. The ones docked externally refueling, three quarters of the fuel they need already inside- while the ones docked internally was doing one of two things: Getting repaired or created, both of whom were doing each. Both being close to state of battle readiness. The 'Jedi Killer' a nickname given to him as it was whispered in the First Order ranks was down on the planet guided to the fortress thanks to the dark side energies and the fact that Fortress Vader was a famous landmark. Kylo Ren regarded it as hallowed ground—the place where Anakin Skywalker died and a Dark Lord of the Sith was born. Flying in his personal modified Tie Whisper, it had four laser cannons at the tip of each wing, five heavy cannons between the two main solar collectors on each wing, and a heavy weapons turret with mag-pulses and heavy lasers. It was also equipped with sensor-confusing technology that allowed for a degree of stealth. So, those may or may not be useful. With an escort of two Special Forces Tie Fighters, a starfighter model used by the First Order, a specialized version of the TIE/fo space superiority fighter. It was a two-seater unlike the previous TIE models, and was outfitted with enhanced weapons and sensor systems as well as hyperdrives and deflector shields. The TIE/sf was reserved for members of the First Order's elite Special Forces. On the lower side of the vehicle, directly below the primary fuel tank, was a turret containing a pair of heavy laser cannons and a mag-pulse warhead launcher. As you could see, the Supreme Leader was defended by the elite of First Order's already skilled base TIE Fighter Pilots. They were given rigorous training, often within the corridors of warships, then tested ruthlessly throughout their careers to ensure their reflexes, visual acuity and coordination measured up. So, knowing this, the elite of these were bound to defend their Supreme Leader well. Also escorting Ren was two First Order Troop Transports, capable of ferrying twenty Stormtroopers into battle in as littile as thirty seconds, these- like the Special Force's Tie Fighters had deflector shields, but unlike them, they instead of having heavy laser cannons had the F-Z0 antipersonnel blaster cannon, a model of double-barrel blaster cannon used by the Troop Transport's gunner to give protective fire to troops being deployed. The Troop Transport also had terrain sensors, so, with their pilot, it was possible to perceive threats. All of this would have been useful as the 'Monster' as called by Rey and admitted by Ren himself, wanted to occupy the castle and to be undisturbed whilst in it. Ordering the First Order forces above the planet, more specifically the Supremacy, to start harvesting resources from the volcanic planet to keep the ship in good condition, which it was, harvesting for resources that could perhaps be used to finish their aforementioned repairs or creation although it also housed well-stocked raw materials reserves but getting more wouldn't hurt, right? Especially when Mustafar's lava flows held unique and valuable minerals. Either way it'll be useful to the First Order as completing the repairs on one and to finish creating it's almost completed Resurgent-class Star Destroyer would have no doubt been beneficial. Ren and his escort now landing in front of Fortress Vader, which was, thanks to time, now ruins."Once you've secured the perimeter, be sure that it is secured. I don't want to be disturbed." Ren said, sounding rather imposing thanks to his reassembled mask's integrated voice-projecting vocabulater, even without the voice projector, the Stormtroopers and even citizens of the First Order were indoctrinated to have a strong sense of duty, loyalty, and obedience to the state, and taught to forgo their personal desires for the greater good of the First Order. And when it came to the Supreme Leader, all who lived under the First Order's rule were required to render unquestioning loyalty and obedience to the Supreme Leader. This was especially the case with First Order stormtroopers, who were trained since birth to become an army of super-soldiers loyal to the Supreme Leader. As such, the Supreme Leader's escort began doing as ordered. At least, the Tie Fighters were. They were in the air, after all. Kylo hoped he wouldn't have to again face cultist or wildlife. Getting out of his Tie Whisper, the two First Order Troop Transports landing to the left and right of his ship, the disembarkation ramp opening, revealing twenty First Order Stormtroopers inside each standing, F-11D blaster rifles up to their chest as they were ready for battle. They then began disembarking in standard two-abreast formation. They did it with such order that they seemed to be doing it fluidly, in a state that was nearly trancelike. Almost like a droid. But the reason they did this was not technological. It was thanks to their loyalty to the First Order that they'd follow protocol and follow orders almost as fluently a droid. It was thanks to their loyalty that there ready to fight and die for the First Order. Two squads were in each one of First Order Troop Transports, except Ren put them under two captains. One captain for each transport. The captains disembarked last before making thier way to the front of the squads. This all looked very similar to the GIF, except unlike in the GIF, there were much more than eight Stormtroopers in front of their captains. Ren then took a few steps foward towards the ruins. From where he stood, he seemed to be standing right in the center of his Tie Whisper which was likewise, in between the two Troop Transports."Now, go." Ren said, rather commandingly. The Tie Fighters already doing their part of the order, a Stormtrooper Captain, in front of the nineteen Stormtroopers he lead, on the left Transport to Kylo responded."Yes sir!" He then began leading his men to fulfill that order towards the left side of the ruins with same happening on the other side of Ren but the other half were going to the right side of the ruins, led by their respective captains, they began securing the area. Now alone, Ren began walking towards the dark side energies he felt, his cape trailing behind him, leading him under the fortress ruins. Ren was now in the Sith Cave where his grandfather, the part he admired, Darth Vader bleed his lightsaber crystal. He would not have been the first person aligned with the First Order to have come here, as Snoke had his obsidian ring carved from this cave. Ren felt the dark side was especially powerful here, this is where the locus oozed it's power, along with feeling that, Ren felt his grandfather's presence, as his mother, Leia felt Darth Maul's dark side presence on Naboo. As his mother described Maul's presence, Vader's was cold. If the presence of the dark side was significantly powerful, nearby Force-sensitives often feel the sensation of cold. Kylo was no exception to this, Once, when the Force connected them, Rey proved this. The dark side emanated through Ren's presence in the Force, which caused Rey to feel cold due to their proximity. This showed Ren's dark side presence was significantly powerful. Kylo fully devoted himself to the dark side, something that concerned the First Order High Command, naturally, with the Skywalker bloodline, he was powerful in the dark side. And more so the Force. This was not the first time he sensed a powerful Force-user's presence, and it wasn't of the dark side, either. It was his uncle's, Luke Skywalker's Light Side presence. When Snoke brought him to Dagobah. Ren felt his uncle's time training there and even told Snoke of it. "Grandfather......" said the heir apparent to Lord Vader before he walked in front of the several rectangular, inclined stones were placed around the table at the center of the cave, which served as the focusing chamber for the local dark side energies. Ren analyzed all this, especially the stones which were like the castle after the date of its construction, it was in ruins. Ren then placed one of his hands on the stone, it didn't feel especially cold nor did it feel especially hot. He then brushed his hand across part of it, what resulted from this were now his black gloves collected quite a bit of dust. The caped figure noticed this and proceeded to get rid of the dust by brushing it off. The reason he did all that was because he was fascinated by this. All of this. These once were used by his grandfather. He not only admired but idolized his grandfather—but only the darkness that was Vader, not the light of Skywalker—and considered Vader to be a great man. In contrast to his admiration for Vader, whom he would have given anything to meet in person, Ren rejected the memory of Skywalker, believing that version of his grandfather to be nothing more than a coward and a traitor. He then looked at the table in the center, curiously. He not only noticed that this table was in the center of the cave and the stones- he also noticed that the local dark side energies were focusing on it, however little. Realizing this, he then proceeded to sit down on the table in the center of what was the portal his grandfather and Momin created as his grandfather hoped to reunite with Ren's grandmother, all of which, the grandson was unaware of. He decided to sit criss cross in a way he could properly meditate. Something he intended on doing."I feel the dark side, grandfather. I can feel it flowing through me. I'm growing more powerful. I will fulfill my promise. I will finish what you've started." said the 'Creature in a Mask' as called by Rey, remembering that soon before he killed his father, Han Solo. He spoke to the Sith Lord's Helmet on the Finalizer. He had promised to finish what he started then as he did now. Ren's efforts to make contact with Vader were motivated by his desire to receive from his grandfather a sense of pride and acknowledgement that he never felt from his parents. There was never a response, however, and he took his grandfather's silence as a lesson. It led him to believe that hope, which he equated to a false prophet, only led to severe disappointment. As a result, Ren did not believe in the existence of an afterlife. To the average man, it seemed like the leader of the First Order was talking to no one but himself. But, to him, he thought he was talking to the darkness that was his grandfather, Darth Vader. He felt closer to the dark side than ever before. He only felt this close truly, when he bleed his very own lightsaber crystal, when he poured all his hatred towards his family legacy into the kyber crystal, later using it to fuel his crossguard lightsaber. The one he had on him. The power of the dark side of force flowed through the Skywalker hier then as it did now. Whereas the Jedi meditated to quiet their minds and connect with the Force, Sith Lords meditated to concentrate their anger, their fear, and their hatred into a pure point of ruthless power within them. Although not a Sith, he studied both the skills of the Jedi and arcane dark-side lore, contradictory teachings that gave him his power through discord. These teachings made the often angry dark warrior, one whose great temper was honed to be a weapon of the First Order, the archetype of a new kind of dark-side user that filled the void left behind when the Sith were destroyed during the Battle of Endor. As the Son of Darkness meditated, rubble from the ruined cave began levitating, as did Ren himself. This looked exactly like the image where he meditated before he oversaw negotiations with the Bethany. Except, unlike in the image, he levitated rocks. But- like in the image- he had that face of concentration. This was thanks to him having a more direct and stronger connection to the force. Everything else was the same, including how he was sitting. He began doing what Sith did whenever they meditated. He was concentrating his anger, his fear, and his hatred into a pure point of ruthless power within him. As he did when he bleed his lightsaber crystal, he used the hate for his family legacy, for his family. Or rather- one of his family, despite his feelings of neglect and abandonment, Ren did not hate his parents. During his trial on Dagobah, he could not bring himself to attack the vision of his parents, even as Snoke urged him to kill the source of his conflict. In contrast to the enduring sentiment that he harbored for his mother and father, Ren never forgave Luke Skywalker, believing his former master had intended to murder him in his sleep. He struck down a vision of Skywalker on Dagobah without hesitation or regret. Most of the hate Ren was using were the ones from the facts that his family, and Snoke saw him as merely a set of expectations and they didn't see him as a person. The other fact was that his uncle, seemed to have feared his power and attempted to kill him in his sleep. He felt betrayed by both of them. He thought both of his teachers- the ones who taught him about the dark and the light side of the force just saw him as a tool. 'Child in a Mask' Snoke called him. 'Kid' Luke called him. But now, Ren commanded the First Order. Now, he was his own master. He neither sought or needed another. At least- that's what he thought. He used his fear of never becoming as powerful as Darth Vader. He focused all his hatred, his anger, his fear and felt the ruthless power within him. It felt good. He enjoyed it. It was now he thought that devoting himself to the dark side was paying off. He knew this was his destiny. So there Ren meditated, above him and his escort the First Order's most capable starship, with eight capable Resurgent-class Star Destroyers, albiet, some were refuelling while some were in the process of either restoration or creation. So, one way or another they were vulnerable. But the Supremacy itself- in it's time it seemed only the Death Star and Starkiller Base could rival it's power. It had two million, two hundred twenty five thousand personnel including: Capable First Order Stormtroopers, and in their own right- equally capable First Order Officers and Engineers. It used to have eight Elite Praetorian Guards but- unknown to the rest of the First Order, the current Supreme Leader with the aid of his Dyad Partner Rey killed them right after he killed the previous Supreme Leader. They were, in time, replaced with the Knights of Ren. Who saw Kylo as their master after he killed their previous leader, Ren. Kylo Ren subsequently became the new Ren. As far as Ren and the First Order were aware of, they only answered to their aforementioned master, Kylo Ren. This actually caused friction between the Knights and the First Order's High Command. The Supreme Leader came to see the Knights as his faithful brothers. He otherwise saw them as superior to the Praetorian Guards due to both their skill and their Force Sensitivity. He thought he had the better body guards than his deceased master and he fought a few of the Praetorian Guards personally, so these were not empty words. The Supreme Leader was ready to fulfill his duties as the Ruler of the First Order. He saw himself as his grandfather's heir and the rightful ruler of the galaxy. He held absolute power over the First Order, but even he was afraid of being betrayed by the higher ranks of the First Order. Such as the Supreme Council, Ren anticipated that the Council would be fought with infighting. He considered it good for his reign, as he preferred that they direct their energies against each other, thereby diminishing their chances of uniting against him. This was similar to what Snoke did, giving Kylo and Hux large amounts of authority so that it could fuel their rivalry, something Snoke was entertained by. Regarding their rivalry, although General Hux survived the regime change within the First Order, the new Supreme Leader was distrustful and refused to lower his guard around someone as devious as Hux. Ren ensured that his one-time rival would have little independent authority without supervision, giving assignments to Allegiant General Enric Pryde or even to the Knights of Ren before entrusting Hux with anything of importance. The years that Hux spent jockeying for power against Ren ultimately worked against the general, his authority being superseded not only by Ren, but Pryde as well. Ren jealously guarded his independence and was unwilling to serve another master, having sacrificed far too much to be subservient. Ren thought the task of the First Order was to remove the disorder from our own existence, so that civilization may be returned to the stability that promotes progress. A stability that existed under the Empire, was reduced to anarchy by the Rebellion, was inherited in turn by the so-called Republic, and will be restored by them. Future historians will look upon this as the time when a strong hand brought the rule of law back to civilization. As such, he was convinced that they were on the right side of history. Many within the First Order, including its Supreme Leader, believed only they could have the power necessary to wrest the galaxy from a path of chaos and corruption. This claim was not without some basis. The New Republic's corruption and ineffectiveness was plain to see across the galaxy, from its citizens to the Resistance and the First Order. In fact, this corruption was one of the First Order's most potent weapons, as they ensured their agenda met with no interference from the Senate. The First Order's citizens saw this as proof the Rebellion was built on false promises, and that rebels could only tear down a government, not build one. The First Order's goal was peace through absolute order. To Ren and the Supreme Leader, it was not poor strategy or arrogance that brought about the fall of the Galactic Empire: it was the sentimentality Vader held for his son, Luke Skywalker, which led to the Sith Lord's redemption; a foolish error in judgment and a momentary lapse in an otherwise great life. Ren believed that if Vader had not succumbed to the light, the Empire would have prevailed. He ultimately hoped to build an immunity to the light, and to succeed where Darth Vader failed. He intended to follow in his grandfather's footsteps and become the Dark Lord of the Sith. As Ren felt the ruthless power within him, as he smiled exactly like in the image under his reassembled mask. He began imagining a future: The future he imagined, was a future where the First Order brought absolute order and he was the ruler of it all. He would become what his grandfather could not; The Emperor of the Galaxy.

[C] The early morning sunlight, soft and diffuse, gives way to the first strong rays of the day, the ones that bring true warmth. In this light, water evaporates in slow waves, waves that eddy in the fresh breeze, flowing upward to white-puffed clouds, ships of white in the blue above. The opera from the trees becomes all the more powerful, as if these golden rays are their conductor's wand, and together they are the song that calls forth the spring. The sky was blue and the sun shone bright. The wind was moving nineteen to twenty four miles per hour, it was certainly a fresh breeze. The birds were chirping, it was approximately eight o'clock a.m. In that broad daylight was a sense of serenity, a peace that invited itself into the soul and made itself at home. Today the light is oddly bright, casting the seagulls into dark shadows against a sky of palest blue. Their wings beat, hugging the air as they drift on unseen thermals. For a few moments they have the Masked Man's eye, keeping him spun into some sort of daydream. The man under multiple names was sitting on the statue of Madara Uchiha in the Valley of the End. A place located close to the border of the Land of Fire and the Land of Sound. This place also had an interesting history, one this man knew well, very well. This was where the fallen Uchiha Leader, Madara Uchiha attacked the Hidden Leaf with the intent of challenging Hashirama, better known as the First Hokage, due to differing views of peace. The resulting battle created the valley he was in now, the destructive power displayed in the epic battle left a scar in the earth that would come to be called the Valley of the End. With the waterfall serving as a border between the Land of Fire and the land that was later known as the Land of Sound, the valley was later memorialised with two giant statues of the main combatants: Hashirama on the Land of Fire's side of the waterfall and Madara on the opposite side to symbolise his defection from their village. The statues are posed to make the Traditional Shinobi Sparring's Seal of Confrontation, which is protocol before a duel. The reason the battle happened, the reason the valley was made, it was because of their aforementioned differing views of peace. You see, the Stone Tablet, a monument which was created by the Sage of the Six Paths in order to discourage his son, the progenitor of the Uchiha Clan, Indra Ōtsutsuki's descendants from attempting to recreate the Rinnegan. But some time after Hagoromo's death, certain details were forged by Black Zetsu as part of its plan to revive Kaguya Ōtsutsuki. The tablet had been in the Uchiha's possession for generations and was brought with them when they settled in Konoha. Through careful study, Madara was able to decipher enough of it to learn of the history of shinobi: of the endless cycle of failed peace and the destiny of battle between Uchiha and Senju, but also a means of unity for the world. With this knowledge, he considered Konoha a failed experiment. Thanks to Black Zetsu's manipulation Madara had believed that the Infinite Tsukuyomi was going to save the Uchiha Clan and the world. The Infinite Tsukuyomi being a genjutsu that traps the entire world in an illusion, enslaving them in a dream so that their chakra may be drawn upon. Those under the influence of the Infinite Tsukuyomi experience dream worlds where their deepest desires are fulfilled. Madara was defeated in his battle with Hashirama and seemingly died at the end of it. He, however used Izanagi to survive and subsequently went into hiding where he used a piece of Hashirama's flesh that he transplanted into his wounds to later gain the Rinnegan, using its abilities to survive. The Gedo Mazo being paramount. During the Third Shinobi World War, Madara found a badly injured Obito Uchiha. Madara used Hashirama's cells to replace Obito's damaged extremities and placed a Forbidden Individual Curse Tag in Obito's heart as a fail-safe in case Obito ever turned against him. Something Obito currently knows about. Until then, Madara began working towards corrupting Obito. He had Kirigakure kidnap the girl Obito loved, Rin Nohara, and seal the Three-Tails into her. He then manipulated events so that Rin would die at the hand of Obito's friend, Kakashi Hatake, while Obito watched. Driven to despair, Obito offered his services to Madara. Madara divulged to Obito the history of the Sage of the Six Paths and the Ten-Tails, the details of his Eye of the Moon Plan, and various techniques that Obito would need moving forward. As a final act, he left behind the scheming Black Zetsu- what he believed to be a manifestation of his will to provide additional guidance to Obito in pursuit of this goal. With that, Madara disconnected from the Demonic Statue and, with his dying breath, entrusted Obito with his name: Madara Uchiha. Not knowing of Madara's manipulation of Kirigakure, Obito strived towards the Eye of the Moon Plan. He didn't do it only because of Rin.....as he said to Kakashi when the latter assumed as much in the Kamui Dimension.'To call you misdirected, would be an understatement!' He knew the circumstances under which Rin died. He knew that Rin was forced to become the Three Tail's Jinchuriki, and that Kakashi managed to rescue her, but that was the Mist's plan in the first place. They even chased them to hurry them back to the Hidden Leaf Village. They wanted to release the Tailed Beast once Rin made it back so it could attack the Hidden Leaf. Rin realised this and chose death by Kakashi's hand, she took advantage of a Lightning Blade he aimed at the enemy. She decided to die by the hands of the one she loved. To protect the Leaf. Obito knew all of this. To him, Kakashi was just a fake because he couldn't protect Rin. To him, Rin was someone who wasn't meant to die, so the one who died was just a fake. The Shinobi System that created all that.....the village....and the shinobi themselves. What caused him to despair was the world itself. This counterfeit world! Obito believed, just like Madara, that this world has always been a failure. Imagine a world of only winners. So as long as there is a concept of victors...the vanquished will also similarly exist. A world of only peace. It was clear to Obito that only despair existed in the world. It was not worth existing. There is no such thing as peace in this world, that is reality. And reality is like a grand river, no matter how hard one tries to stop it, reality will swallow them whole and mercilessly crush. A world that knows only love. The selfish intent to preserve peace initiates wars. And hatred is born to protect love. When a man learns to love he must bear the risk of hatred. A world without failures. People regret things and wish they could do them over again. But they can't. Failure is not allowed in this world. It's always too late for regrets......reality just keeps cruelly moving forward. Obito wanted to create a world with only those things: Winners, love, peace. Who would want to reject that kind of happiness? There was nothing in his heart. He had nothing but pain in his heart, a deep, empty space opened by this hellish world! What was the meaning of that? With the Infinite Tsukuyomi, he didn't have to suffer anymore. No one did. In the dream world, you can have anything. The hole in the heart could be filled immediately. This was why he wanted to complete Project Tsuki No Me. Eternal peace, that was his goal. As mentioned previously, Obito sat atop of Madara's statue. He sat in a way that he was comfortable, on top of the statue's head. He was sitting above Madara's forehead, close to the middle of the head. It looked exactly like in the image, except for one important detail: He was in the outfit he wore during the Fourth Great Ninja War. Obito was wearing a mask made of strong materials suited for war. The mask was white with a purple tint that covers the entire upper-half of Obito's head with a design that resembled the Ten-Tails' eye, consisting of a ripple-pattern with three tomoe around the centre; two of these tomoe acted as the mask's eye-holes. He also dons the Uchiha clan's traditional clothing during the Era of the Warring States. This attire includes a pair of black pants and gloves, with a white, presumed form-fitting shirt underneath. Over this he wears a purple, high-collared, long sleeve mantle that splits down the lower half and has the Uchiha crest on the back. Around his waist he wears a simple, light-purple obi and a belt. Strapped to his back, he carried a purple gunbai with black trimmings and black tomoe, connected to a black chain that ran up his right sleeve. The mask's eye-holes revealed Obito's eyes. The right one being his original. It was his Mangekyo Sharingan. With Obito's right Mangekyō, a short-range version of Kamui is used. Obito most often uses this version on himself, sucking himself into his right eye to enter Kamui's dimension and then exiting back to whatever location he pleases. Sometimes he does this in order to escape attacks, other times he does this in order to travel long distances. Obito can perform this teleportation at will and doesn't need to designate his destination beforehand, leading others to label it superior to the Flying Thunder God Technique. Others can be sucked into Kamui's dimension through his eye in addition to or instead of Obito, and in fact it is faster for him to use Kamui on others than on himself. Obito is usually shown requiring physical contact with those he's using Kamui on, but this isn't always consistent. Obito can also use the right Mangekyō to temporarily transfer all or parts of his body to Kamui's dimension. His body, and anything he's holding, will remain visible to others, but they won't be able to interact with him or them, as he can also extend this intangibility to whatever he's touching at the time. Obito often uses this ability defensively, transferring his body to Kamui's dimension so that attacks will harmlessly pass through him; during early appearances, while using the "Tobi" persona, Obito commonly pretends to be hurt or feel pain to confuse opponents. Alternatively, Obito can make his entire body intangible, whether to pass through barriers or other obstacles, or to travel underground and surprise opponents with attacks from below. Obito can only keep his body intangible like this for approximately five minutes, and so long as even part of him is intangible he is unable to use Kamui to teleport; in the brief moment between when he solidifies and when he teleports, Obito is vulnerable. Alternatively, opponents can circumvent his intangibility by transferring themselves or their attacks to Kamui's dimension, which will enable them to damage whichever body parts he's currently keeping there. As an Uchiha, Obito is proficient in the use of shuriken techniques and wields a set of giant shuriken of varying sizes from the size of handheld ones, to ones larger than a full-grown person stored in the other dimension, which he can instantly bring out, by using his Kamui's spiraling distortion to launch them at a high rotational speed, which adds an element of surprise to the attack and gives the opponent minimal time to react accordingly. He also uses them as close-range melee weapons as he did against Kakashi, for both stabbing and slashing. He also has a set of giant kunai, which he uses in an identical fashion in conjunction with his dōjutsu. The Mangekyo Sharingan retained all of the Sharingan's generic abilities which were: 'Eye of Insight'. The ability to see chakra, giving it colour in order to distinguish it by its composition and source. Though not as capable in this regard as the Byakugan, it can see chakra through some, but not all obstructions and detect irregularities in a person's chakra flow, such as those caused by genjutsu influence. Obito used this ability multiple times, once being very soon after he awakened the Sharingan. When Obito first awakened his Sharingan it already had two tomoe and he was able to take immediate advantage of it despite his inexperience, which he used to detect irregularities in Rin's chakra flow, noticing she was put in a genjutsu while she was captured by two Hidden Stone Shinobi. Another time was during his battle with Fū and Torune, when he tricked Torune into attacking Fū by acting as if he was about to attack him himself, Obito sent a part of his body to the Kamui Dimension, phasing, this all resulted in Torune touching his partner. Originally assuming Torune's jutsu was him flushing in chakra to destroy the target's cells, but then realized they were bugs using the chakra-seeing ability. The Sharingan also granted incredible analytical abilities. The user is granted incredible clarity of perception, enabling them to read lips or mimic something like pencil movements. Sasuke Uchiha's Sharingan was even able to see on a cellular level. In combat, this allows them to see fast-moving objects and, once fully developed, offers some amount of predictive capabilities: it was able to analyze and predict it's target's movements with incredible clarity of perception, as well as other things. In combat, this allows them to see fast-moving objects and, once fully developed, offers some amount of predictive capabilities: they can anticipate an opponent's next move based on the slightest muscle tension in their body and act accordingly to dodge or intercept. They can also read the enemy's hand seals to give them an insight of the performed technique's nature, regardless of the speed of performance, so long as the hands are not physically hidden from view. Although a Sharingan user can see these things, they also need the physical ability to actually act on the visual information. It is shown that with advanced enough prowess, via eye contact, the user can even enter the target's mind to look through their memories and even erase them within a long range for several targets. The user is able to copy almost any jutsu they see, memorising ninjutsu, genjutsu, and taijutsu with near-perfect accuracy. They can then either perform that jutsu or modify it to suit their needs, as when Sasuke Uchiha bases his Lion Combo on Rock Lee's Front Lotus. Again, Sharingan users need the prerequisite abilities before they can mimic a jutsu they have seen, and for that reason they cannot, for example, reproduce kekkei genkai abilities they do not have or nature transformations they haven't learned to perform. Obito was also skilled in this field, having rather nice feats of his own with the 'Eye of Insight'. Some of which included: After awakening his Sharingan, he became able to read and predict his opponents movements, able to effectively counter attacks from Kakkō, an experienced Iwa-nin. He also displayed skill in coordinated attacks alongside Kakashi using his Sharingan and this was all soon after he first awakened it, too. In his adulthood, he could see the Six Paths tools used to seal Kinkaku and Ginkaku, two Pseudo-Jinchuriki. Two who's Nine Tail's Chakra he'd use later on. He found these tools using the Sharingan, even when the tools were a great distance from him. It was on the bottom of a large mountain, it seemed almost like a waterfall. It was the western coast of the Land of Lightning. Obito was far from most of the Shinobi who prevailed against his forces there and still with his Sharingan, he found the Treasured Tools he sought. Another feat of his prediction abilities was again during the war. He was facing off against a group of his old friend Kakashi of the Sharingan, Might Guy, the Blue Beast, and his two targets, Naruto and Killer Bee, or to be precise, the Tailed Beast they held within. Obito used his Sharingan against Guy when he attempted to overwhelm him with his Twin Attacking Fangs. Obito used his eye to predict where the swift and his seemingly hard to predict attacks were but, despite the seeming difficulty, he successfully predicted them and caught them anyway before sucking them into the Kamui Dimension. All thanks to his Sharingan. Which he uses as an answer to Guy right after this very moment, when the former seemed surprised by Obito's perception. Obito was also skilled in the 'Eye of Hypnotism'. More specifically, genjutsu. Or in this case, Sharingan: Genjutsu. By establishing eye contact with a target, the Sharingan user traps them within a genjutsu which can be exploited for one of various purposes, such as: causing instantaneous- but temporary- loss of consciousness or paralysis in the target, forceful extraction of information, relaying memories, removing genjutsu placed on the target by others, and controlling a target's actions. He was able to use the controlling a target's actions part to great effectiveness, completely controlling the Nine Tails with genjutsu and using it to attack the Hidden Leaf Village. A feat only done once before by Madara Uchiha. His proficiency with this part of genjutsu is also powerful enough to control the Fourth Mizukage Yagura and the Tailed Beast he held within, the Three Tails, Isobu and maintain it for a very large period of time. What made this quite the achievement was that Yagura was a perfect Jinchuriki, or at least a possible one, according to Danzo. But Jūzō Biwa, a jōnin from Kirigakure and a member of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist who knew Yagura well enough to at least know of his Coral Palm Technique claimed he could control his Tailed Beast. This feat impressed Kisame Hoshigaki so much that he questioned who he was, once Obito claimed he was Madara Uchiha, Kisame expressed disbelief, but soon came to trust Obito. In any case, Obito proved powerful enough to have three rather intelligent and powerful shinobi question or at least consider the fact he was Madara Uchiha. Them being: Obito's former sensei, Minato Namikaze. Obito's least trusted subordinate, Itachi Uchiha, who actually thought he was Madara Uchiha. And Obito's most trusted subordinate, Kisame Hoshigaki. This proved Obito was not only acting the role of Madara well, but he also had enough power to make it quite convincing. Not to mention, the genjutsu had a fatal effect on Yagura, who had a hand in various crimes such as exploiting money from the weak, to which he died shortly after Ao's Byakugan dispelled it. He also battled his former friend Kakashi, another skilled Sharingan user who possessed his original left eye in a genjutsu duel to a standstill. Not only this, but he showed great skill in the incapacitation of his enemies via genjutsu, trapping both Fū and Torune in a genjutsu for a considerable amount of time; from the time of their capture. Also proving capable in forcefully extracting information from his enemies, putting a genjutsu on Konan so powerful that it forced her to reveal the location of Nagato's corpse, and more importantly, the Rinnegan. He was quite confident it would work, too. Claiming that all he had to do was capture her and he'll have his way, telling her not to mock the Uchiha's Visual Prowess. Also, it's possible that just like with Yagura, his genjutsu could have had a fatal affect. As he said, 'When I have finished casting this genjutsu, you will be finished too.' Konan may have died to the genjutsu, but then again, maybe not. It's just as possible he killed her through something else. But in any case, he got what we wanted from her......the Rinnegan. Madara Uchiha's eyes. The Sage of the Six Path's eyes. In his mask's left eye-hole, was the left eye of Madara. With the Rinnegan, Obito gained quite a few powerful abilities. The Six Paths Techniques: The Deva Path, grants the user the ability to manipulate attractive and repulsive forces with objects and people. These techniques, however, cannot be performed in rapid succession; the amount of time required to recharge after use varies depending on the scale of the technique used, five seconds being the basic minimum. The Deva Path also grants another ability: Chibaku Tensei which allows the user to create a huge makeshift terrestrial body from all the surrounding matter that is attracted to a black sphere released by this technique. Through Pain, Nagato demonstrated the ability to levitate in midair prior to levelling Konoha and during his battle against Naruto in his six-tailed state. It could be argued that during the same battle he stole Might Guy's Twin Attacking Fangs that he done the same thing, it was after he bombarded his opponents with stakes, but after it seemed as though one of the stakes destroyed the shadow clone of an attacking Naruto, from Obito's point of view this was another attempt to attack him using his left eye, as Kakashi used Kamui on Naruto's shadow clone. To him, their attack was another failure. So, chiding Kakashi for wasting another Kamui, right after his stake seemed to destroy the attacking force, he stopped releasing them, so it's not like Kamui's winds were keeping him up. And this all took quite a few seconds, so......it's very arguable he was using the Deva Path here. The Asura Path. Through the Asura Path, the user is able to form up to four additional arms and two additional faces, as well as a folded, serrated blade-like sash around their waist. These additional appendages, as well as the user's body as a whole, are augmented with a variety of mechanical weaponry, which they can access at will. The user can fire their forearms as long-range projectiles or pull them off to reveal and fire a cluster of segmented missiles at targets. They are also able to protrude a set of flexible blades and drills or a series of mechanical tendrils from their arms, as well as quickly propel themselves forward by emitting a burst of chakra from holes in their feet. The user can also release a powerful chakra blast, which is capable of destroying numerous buildings at once, either by transforming one of their hands into a cannon or by opening the crown of their head. The body through which Nagato channelled the Asura Path displayed enough raw physical power to rip Jiraiya's arm off and crush his throat with basic taijutsu, as well as to throw the Animal Path all the way into Konohagakure from the outskirts of the village. Additionally, the Asura Path was able to survive otherwise fatal damage due to its mechanised insides. The Human Path, grants a Rinnegan user the ability to read the mind of any target by placing his hand on the target's head or chest and yanking the soul out of the body. Though it provides intel by getting well guarded secrets, the technique inevitably kills the target. When Kabuto failed to capture Naruto, or Bee......he instead brought another, the wood-element user in charge of watching Naruto, Yamato. Obito immediately wanted to use the Human Path to read Yamato's mind, to learn everything he knew in an instant, but.....as mentioned this certain technique inevitably kills the target and Kabuto wanted to keep him alive in order to empower the White Zetsu Army. Obito accepted this and didn't use the Human Path then, but it was quite evident he could have. The Animal Path, grants a Rinnegan user the ability of summoning various animals and creatures to aid it in battle. These creatures appear to be immortal, as they were killed and later summoned again. Worthy of note, summoning creatures through the Animal Path require no blood sacrifice or hand seals. The Animal Path can also summon people using hand signs, such as the case of Nagato's Paths and Konan. Something Obito would have likely loved to use considering Konan then was a traitor to the Akatsuki. His Akatsuki. But, it could be due to Konan's connections to Nagato that it could only be done by him, who knows? Plus, Obito didn't even have the Rinnegan by then so he couldn't have summoned Konan into a trap.....funny thought though. Tactics-wise, the Animal Path's primary role in battle appears to consist of overwhelming multiple opponents with a barrage of summons. The creatures summoned appear to have undergone the same modifications as his Paths of Pain, having chakra receivers embedded in their bodies. Nagato also tends to send the Animal Path first into battle to throw enemies off about the number of enemies they are really facing. As they also display the Rinnegan, the creatures serve as extensions of Nagato. And by further extension, Obito. During the Fourth Shinobi World War, Nagato used his summons for transport before being rejuvenated to move on his own power. The Preta Path, grants the user the ability to absorb chakra in any form. This ability is primarily defensive in nature as it is capable of absorbing chakra from an individual through physical contact. In addition to this, the Preta Path is able to absorb ninjutsu-based techniques that are pure chakra or chakra based, thereby nullifying their effect. This is done by forming a barrier around the user's entire body, allowing them to absorb attacks from all directions. Although the ability is able to absorb senjutsu chakra, the user is still vulnerable to the effects of turning into a stone statue from absorbing too much of it. During the Fourth Shinobi World War, Nagato used the Preta Path to absorb Killer B's chakra while he was in his Version two form. He then apparently used the chakra to revitalise his body to its state before it was emaciated by the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path. It also restored his hair colour back from white to red, as well as the damage done to his legs. However, presumably due to loss of muscle memory, he was not able to use the legs completely. This was one of the Six Path Techniques Obito personally shown, using it on Kakashi to absorb all of the Nine Tail's Chakra, or at least the Nine Tail's version one-like shroud given to him by Naruto swiftly, seemingly faster than when a revived Madara absorbed the very same shroud from a killed Shinobi Alliance member, on that note it was enough chakra to fully heal a stab wound from Sasuke. Nine Tail's chakra allowing Kakashi to travel through Kamui himself, and Killer Bee in and out. Also, Hinata after getting the same amount of chakra Obito absorbed, the augmentation was so large, she was able to with a simple Eight Trigrams Air Palm blast an entire tail of the Ten Tail's roughly into the Earth Release: Sandwich Technique, so it certainly wasn't a little chakra, or at least the augmentation wasn't little, as well as later in the war taking sage power from Madara. But, as stated above, Nagato used the Preta Path to absorb Killer B's Version two form.....all of it. Something Samehada was incapable of. She could only absorb six tails worth of chakra at one time. The Preta Path, however, as proven by Nagato who was in seconds able to absorb Killer B's entire Version Two State. And only after a few exchanges with Samehada and Kisame......most of Killer B's natural chakra had been absorbed. And Killer Bee's chakra in the war seemed to be rather even with Naruto's, considering towards the end of Naruto and Bee's battle with Obito, Madara, and the Ten Tails, their respective Tailed Beast ran out of chakra and both of the Jinchuriki seemed rather exhausted. Still, though, if the Preta Path was able to do that much compared to Samehada....likely means it can absorb chakra in fine amounts and speed. The Naraka Path, grants the user two main abilities: interrogation and restoration, by using the King of Hell. The Naraka Path ability makes heavy use of the King of Hell. The King of Hell is a large head which sprouts out of the ground surrounded by purple flames. It also possesses the Rinnegan as well as the shared field of vision along with the other summons. To interrogate, the Naraka Path need only catch hold of a person, causing the King of Hell to appear before them. With the victim seemingly paralysed, the Naraka Path begins questioning them. After answers are given, the King of Hell will unzip its mouth to release tendril-like arms and would draw out an apparition of the victim's life force energy in the form of an enlarged tongue. The King of Hell would then proceed to pass its judgement. If the person was lying or refused to answer the questions, the King of Hell would remove their tongue and consume it, apparently killing them. However, if they told the truth, they would be spared, although left extremely exhausted. The second ability the Naraka Path possessed is the ability to repair any damage. To do so the Naraka Path has the King of Hell ingest the damaged body with its tendril-like arms into its mouth, then, after some time, the destroyed body will emerge from its mouth, completely rejuvenated. It did this for example to the Asura Path after it was destroyed by Chōji and Chōza Akimichi. With its restorative abilities, the Naraka Path can easily be regarded as the most valuable body if the Six Paths of Pain is being used through six different bodies. During formation, Nagato puts the Naraka Path at the rear behind the sentimental Deva Path with the other four taking the front lines. Kabuto Yakushi stated that a Naraka Path user can transport bodies and souls using the King of Hell. The King of Hell also seems to be ethereal, the Naraka Path kicking Ebisu straight through it. His body may be ethereal, but his eyes however, aren't. As proven when the reanimated Itachi Uchiha blinded him by using multiple kunai. The Outer Path, an ability granted to wielders of the Rinnegan, which affords them the power to control life and death. With this power, the user is able to revive the dead, transmit their chakra into black receivers, and manifest chakra chains. One who wields the Rinnegan is said to exist outside the realm of life and death. They are regarded as the seventh Pain, the Outer Path, and wield the power to control life and death itself. With this power, the user is able to revive the dead through the Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique, though doing so comes at the cost of the user's life. As mentioned, the Rinnegan allows for the creation of black receivers, and by transmitting their chakra into these receivers, the user can bind anyone they touch through the power of the Outer Path. The user can also manifest the chakra chains of the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path to restrain those who touch the receivers with an even greater binding power. By implanting black receivers into corpses or reincarnated individuals, the user can reanimate and remotely control the bodies as the Six Paths of Pain. These bodies, as well as the King of Hell and the creatures summoned through the Animal Path, all have reflections of the Rinnegan in their eyes and share visual information with the user through the Outer Path. During the Fourth Shinobi World War, Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki demonstrated the ability to recall the souls of the previous Kage from the Pure Land to assist him in summoning Team 7 and the tailed beasts back from Kaguya Ōtsutsuki's core dimension. When summoned in this manner, the deceased person does not have an actual body, but appears as a mass of flickering chakra in full possession of their personality and memories. Once the user ends the technique, the summoned souls dwindle and ultimately disappear completely. Hagoromo was also able to undo another person's use of the Impure World Reincarnation technique, releasing the reincarnated souls from their vessels and sending them to the Pure Land. Obito himself had also displayed extensive use of the Outer Path ability, where by combining it with the Demonic Statue, he was able to reseal the tailed beasts into their respective jinchūriki and use their powers freely as well as create the aforementioned chakra chains that he used to suppress their power. Obito was able to use the chains to drag the beasts he controls to reseal them instantly inside the Statue. He also used the black receivers as well, most notably in his fight with Kakashi in the Kamui Dimension. The black receivers and the Demonic Statue Chains were some of the more useful Outer Path abilities, in battle, at least. Proof of its usefulness including the ability and durability to break steel scalpels, as well as sharp enough to pierce through human bodies with ease. The user can transmit their chakra into the target's body, disrupting their own chakra and throwing off their movements. They could also stifle the victim's movement and if multiple rods manage to pierce, it'd fully immobilize them. As well as prevent them from moulding additional chakra by piercing their tenketsu. Provided the user is close enough, they can potentially control the target's movements, though this can be resisted if the target's own chakra is powerful enough. Aside from being stabbed, simply touching the receivers can apparently also incur negative effects, though Rinnegan wielders are seemingly immune. Through the Outer Path, the user is able to manifest chakra chains, which bind anyone they touch. According to Obito, this binding power is far greater than that of Nagato's Outer Path. The chains possess a cursed seal that suppresses the power of tailed beasts, and also cause a great deal of pain to their victims. Obito was able to generate these chains through the use of black receivers. He implanted a single receiver into each of his Six Paths of Pain, which were made into temporary jinchūriki. By manifesting chains from the jinchūriki's receivers and connecting them to his hand, he was able to bind and suppress the tailed beasts inside them in the event that they resisted his control. When Naruto Uzumaki was trapped inside the Four-Tails' mouth, Obito attempted to capture him by dragging the beast inside his own body using these chains. The beasts were also bound by chains within their consciousness; when the receivers were removed from their jinchūriki's bodies, these chains were replaced by a single larger chain connecting directly to the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, permitting Obito to quickly reseal them into the statue. Also, using Kamui, Obito was able to release stakes made up of the same properties as the Black Receivers, and as explained, through these he was able to manifest the Demonic Statue Chains. He was also able to release these stakes with enough force to pierce the Eight Tail's tail. As you can see, Obito's eyes alone make him quite the opponent. However, unlike his right eye, which he had no problems with. The Rinnegan..........Obito couldn't handle the strain of the Rinnegan, at least, not two at once. Rinnegans contain extraordinarily powerful chakra and boast enormous ocular power, such that an unworthy wielder risks 'losing themselves' upon implant. Assumingly, only those with remarkable amounts of chakra could handle both Rinnegan at once. Like Nagato, an Uzumaki.
Uzumaki possessed incredibly strong life-forces. Obito witnessed this himself, when he extracted the Nine Tails from Kushina, his sensei's wife. She survived the extraction. Something Obito responded to by saying 'You Uzumaki are just amazing.' So, that could be another reason Nagato was so compatible with the Rinnegan. Obito, however, was one of those 'unworthy weilders'. He himself admitted that even with just Madara's left eye, he almost lost himself. Black Zetsu himself claimed that someone of Obito's pedigree was never meant to hold onto something like the Rinnegan long term. Obito also had the Hashirama Cells, given to him by Madara as mentioned earlier, which gave him access to Wood Style, something he seemed at least decently capable in. Once, taking out a rather large amount of various jōnin and Anbu-level Kiri shinobi who were sent to 'chase' after his former teamates. Killing them with a mix of Kamui and Wood Style, using the phasing ability of Kamui and Wood Style, two particular jutsu being used here: First, towards the middle of the battle, he used Wood Style: Cutting Sprigs Jutsu. A versatile technique where the user can produce sharp wooden spikes from their body to either fashion short-range weapons akin to a makeshift sword, or use them as projectiles, where the branches' growth can be triggered remotely, skewering the enemy as a result. Obito used this technique to brutally kill a Blood Mist enemy. Second being, Wood Style: Great Spear Tree. A deadly technique where the user brings up several thick roots from the ground, and uses them to crush his opponents. Obito used this technique at the very end of the battle, using it to slaughter all of the still very plentiful Blood Mist enemies. This technique was also just a larger scale version of the Wood Style: Underground Roots Technique: Using the Wood Release, a user can manipulate the terrain, bringing out underground roots of varying sizes to fit various offensive situations, such as using the roots for trickery, misdirection and restriction. But this was only a few of Obito's feats with Wood Style and from them you could at the very least consider him a decent Wood Style user. However, like the Rinnegan, the First Hokage's cells had a risk. Danzo himself lost control of Hashirama's chakra due to being close to death, the consequence being almost getting way too close to death, almost turning into a tree, almost being swallowed up by the cells. Obito had to deal with both the cells and the Rinnegan. This was by no means easy to handle, but to Obito.......it was endurable. As he spent a large portion of the Fourth Great Shinobi War wielding both Madara's Rinnegan and the cells. Though, when he had to control his very own paths. Holding back the Tailed Beast who often fought for control.......that was when things truly got difficult. Along with what he's already forced to deal with, using the Jinchuriki Paths of his, especially when accessing much of their chakra, Obito found it most difficult to use the Six Paths Techniques. Though he was capable, especially against opponents who fought and knew how to counter them, he preferred not to use them. As not only did he have six bodys to control, but forcing back the Tailed Beast, and keeping both the Rinnegan and Hashirama's chakra at bay was enough to handle. Not to mention.......why waste chakra on those who can or at least know how to counter the jutsu? As Might Guy said, doing so would be stupid and Obito was not as foolish. But luckily for him, The Tailed Beast were staying put inside the Gedo Mazo while the Six Jinchuriki Paths slept where Nagato's very own did, in Pain's Castle. But without them, the only real significant difficulties Obito had to face was the amount of chakra the Rinnegan abilities consumed. Obito had very impressive Chakra Reserves as proven by lasting for a good portion of the war where he used many chakra taxing Jutsu without any noticeable exhaustion. His robust reservoir also allows him to summon large and very powerful creatures such as Kurama, items such as the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, as well as provide him with the basis required to control five fully transformed jinchūriki at once. Kurama being something Gerotora thought no one could possibly be able to perform such a feat. Jiraiya slightly agreed, but claimed there was one, just one. Madara Uchiha. There Obito goes again, performing feats making him quite so comparable to Madara Uchiha that they thought he was him. Of course, he didn't seem to have the raw Uzumaki reserves that Nagato had. This was likely thanks to the Hashirama Cells he had on him. The chakra consumption it took, also the fact he was going against people who defeated Pain. Along with the effort of holding the Tailed Beast back was precisely why Obito didn't use the other Rinnegan abilities against Naruto, Bee, Guy and Kakashi. Yet, especially without his paths, he was perfectly capable as proven by the fact he at least claimed he could use the Human Path to Kabuto, as well as his clear use of the Preta Path. He also used the Outer Path Chains on his paths so.........it all could just get, difficult. To put it simply, Obito created his own Six Paths of Pain during the Fourth Shinobi World War using the reanimated jinchūriki. Obito controls his Six Paths using a single black receiver embedded into the left side of each of their chests, which were hidden from view. When transformed into the tailed beast, the receivers move from the chest to the neck. He also seals their respective tailed beast back into their bodies, which he maintains control of through the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path. Obito can force the jinchūriki to transform into their full Tailed Beast Modes, but this carries an increased risk of the beasts subverting his commands. Because of how much effort it requires to keep six tailed beasts under his control at once, Obito usually does not channel the Six Paths Techniques into his Six Paths of Pain. Rather, he prefers to use the same abilities that they had when they were alive, such as Rōshi's Lava Release and Utakata's Soap Bubble Ninjutsu. With Obito's Sharingan, through which he sees what his Paths see, he is able to more precisely synchronise and deploy their abilities. One of the major benefits of the Impure World Reincarnation is that it grants immortal bodies to those who are reincarnated. Any damage they receive will regenerate in time and, assuming the damage is not too debilitating, they can continue attacking even before their body recovers. So, naturally, this was an advantage the Jinchuriki due to being brought back this way. An advantage they didn't have, however was the limitless refilling of their diminished chakra reserves that the reincarnated individuals have access to; they can fight eternally and perform ordinarily physically demanding or chakra-intensive jutsu without issue, knowing their current reserves will infinitely refill. To be fair, they did have this advantage. Though this was negated due to the technique requiring chakra from Obito. And even if he could jutsu with no drawbacks thanks to Edo Tensei then controlling the Tailed Beast cost chakra as surmised by Kakashi, plus-if that were true, then Obito would have used the Six Path Techniques through them with no issue. Not to mention, if the one Black Reciever controlling them were to be detroyed then Obito would have to replace it in order to control them again. Through all this difficulty, controlling six reanimated jinchuriki seemed like a fair trade. The power of six of the Tailed Beast. Now, back to the Valley of the End, Obito was still sitting on Madara's statue. This was not the first time he has ever done this, as he done it at least once before. One time being exactly when Jiraiya had a really bad feeling that Madara Uchiha lived. Ironically, at the time, he didn't, but, this was based solely on the correct assumption that the second Nine Tails attack on the village was not a naturally occurring disaster, but one caused by an intentional summoning. Jiraiya's theory was mostly correct, other than him thinking it was Madara Uchiha who summoned the Nine Tails then. It was Obito Uchiha. Though......he was going by Madara's name so, in a way, you could say he was correct. Precisely why it was ironic, Jiraiya's suspicion was that Madara Uchiha lived, and 'Madara Uchiha' did live, and what makes it even better is the fact he was on Madara's statue. The other time being him going to the valley where he sat atop Madara's statue as he mused over what path Sasuke would take. This time, though......really, for the most part he wanted to relax. Similar to his first time, there was no real goal. Just.......relaxation. Relaxation in the very place he felt closest to the identity of Madara Uchiha, on top of Madara's very own statue. Relaxation and Obito were no strangers. After Itachi's death, Obito asked Zetsu if he had recorded the fight between Itachi and Sasuke to which he confirmed. The way Zetsu confirmed it though was more reassuring than not, but the word 'relax' was used. To this, Obito responded by basically saying he probably will, that'd he's relax and watch the recording later. Being here helped facilitate Obito's role as Madara. It's not as though he thought he was doing a bad job, really he was doing a fine one but....people seemed to have rarely come to the Valley of the End. Why? Obito wasn't quite sure, perhaps it was because everyone feared these two combatants. They were extremely powerful, yes. But Madara Uchiha being defeated by the First Hokage was something known to all.......perhaps the reason everyone steered away was because of fear. Though, this may not have been the case at all. Because Hashirama's victory against Madara otherwise gave hope. Nevertheless, Obito was fine with the Valley of the End getting little to no visitors. It meant he couldn't be interrupted. He did feel closer to Madara here. Even so, he never considered Madara an ally. Really, he saw him as an obstacle more than anything. He took advantage of his own necessity in Madara's ultimate ambition of becoming the Ten-Tails' jinchūriki in order to plunge the Allied Shinobi Forces into despair, showing lack of gratitude for Madara saving his life and giving him the purpose of the plan. It's not as though Madara had any room to talk for when it came to a genuine relationship between them, he was positive Madara saw him as a tool and nothing more. So why should he feel differently towards him? He held animosity and jealousy towards Madara for being so arrogant, yet so powerful and respected. Or rather, feared. This was proven by his tone in saying, 'So you defied the Reanimation Jutsu.....that is so like you.' But, it did prove that they learned things about each other over the time together spent towards the Eye of the Moon Plan. Obito learned that it is like Madara to persevere despite the odds. Madara was so naturally powerful....in a way, it annoyed Obito. But Madara learned things about Obito as well. As proven by him saying, 'Well, then again knowing you....I'm sure you have something in mind.' Empathizing the fact that Obito often kept multiple back-up plans, rarely pinning his hopes on a single outcome. Despite the likely mutual disliking of each other, Obito did understand Madara to a degree. Learning personal things about him, his past, naturally, he was going to act as the man after all. But one of the best examples of Obito understanding Madara was when he was revealing the truth of Itachi to Sasuke, exposing the truth of Itachi required Obito to delve into Madara's past, back to an era of unrelenting violence and bloodshed. The Warring States Period. From Obito's story, he revealed he knew much about Madara's past. He knew the circumstances Madara was under. Despite trying to do what he thought was best for the clan, seeing that the Senju would eventually strip the Uchiha of its rights and power. The rest of the Uchiha turned their backs on him, deriding him as a greedy opportunist. They said he was only motivated by his lust for power, and that he had stolen his brother's eyes to save his own life.'What kind of monster would hurt his beloved younger brother!? All I ever wanted was to protect the Uchiha Clan!' He had said to Sasuke as he revealed it all, and he believed it. Madara just wanted to protect the Uchiha Clan. This was all proven by the fact that despite not being Madara, he acted so well that Sasuke believed him even when he mixed some lies in there, particularly the him actually being behind the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox's Attack despite him saying otherwise. To put it simply, Obito sympathized with Madara. Despite all he had done, he faded from everyone's memories and history itself. Though, for Obito that was good. Because the anonymity ultimately helped him. This may have been the reason tourism for the valley was so scarce.......they simply forgot about them. Though it was scarce, it was not non-existent. So, not wanting to be interrupted by someone who by some off chance would come to the valley, Obito who was a sensory shinobi, has had his chakra changed to 'sensory mode' ever since he had come to the valley. Even for sensor types, detecting chakra is not an automatic process; in order to sense chakra, the shinobi must actively be kneading chakra. They must also change their chakra to "sensory mode" making it possible for them to miss important events if they are preoccupied with an ongoing battle. Since concentration is required, it can be difficult to participate in battle while focusing on sensing. Though, for Obito, he seemed to operate rather smoothly in battle despite the concentration needed. A good example being when he met Itachi Uchiha as a child, right after cutting down his teammate he walked to Itachi and toyed with him, threatening to kill him if he said he was a Hidden Leaf Shinobi again but before he could act, he sensed Kakashi Hatake's chakra a long with a group of Anbu's, so he retreated. Obito also seemed to be a decently skilled sensor, able to scan Kaguya's dimensions for Sasuke's chakra, able to find Sasuke and Minato before teleporting to them using Kamui. It also appears that Obito used his sensory prowess and Kamui in conjunction during the heat of battle, like during his aforementioned battle with two old friends from the past and his two targets, when counter attacking against Naruto at the beginning of the battle, Might Guy managed to get above Obito and attempted to hit his head with his Twin Attacking Fang but Obito managed to let it pass through even though he couldn't see him and was in the middle of counter attacking. Things like this happened multiple times during many of his battles. Though this could have been thanks to something else, like sheer reflexes, it is possible that this was thanks to the sensing of chakra. Obito's sensory prowess should have been good enough to sense any nearby.......visitors. Obito was gazing at the statue of Hashirama Senju in front of him in a gaze that can only be described as cold; a gaze he was sure his subordinates were used to. As Madara, Hashirama was he whom he so admired, yet was his rival, and the man he hated most. But clearly, to Obito, he was a clown. Anyone who believed peace is possible in this world were nothing more than clowns to him. There is no such thing as true peace! No such thing as hope! Not in this accursed world! But, there was still that sense of serenity, that peace. Oh, the early morning felt quite pleasurable to Obito. The morning signified the beginning of a new day, a new chance. Even though this world was fake to him, everything the morning had to offer, it felt good. So good that, he grinned a little under the white mask, his coldness becoming less noticeable."Oh, mornings. The beginnings of the day. You feel so invigorating, I want feelings like this to last forever and one day, one day soon, I will be able to witness a world where things like that are possible! That world.....the one I envision, will be perfect." He said, feeling as invigorated as he indicated, hinting at the Infinite Tsukuyomi, because in there, he was perfectly capable of doing as much. Desires were exactly what the Infinite Tsukuyomi was made to appease. A world where greed was fed, where human nature couldn't get in the way of peace. Moments later, his grin would gradually fade."But.....so many deny the happiness that day will bring, so many fight for this world.....why? A world with so many flaws, and they deny the only solution....so few understand. Or, perhaps some are somehow unaware that this world doesn't deserve to exist, " he said, now averting his attention to the waterfall. He watched as the water streamed down. He considered it........beautiful."Why can't we all stream towards eternal peace together.......?" He asked, legendary eyes still on the current. Wondering why everyone saw value in this world, why no one wanted peace. His peace. Everything would be so much easier if no one stood in his way, naturally. A few seconds would pass "Kheheheh..." Obito chuckled, humored. Chuckling exactly like he did before telling Naruto and Bee that now that the war has started, names were irrelevant and to call him whatever they pleased. Moving his body and head the same way, too. Also in similarity, when Kakashi admitted to being trash, but also saying that Obito was a hero of the Hidden Leaf, that there was no reason for him to become trash too. Obito laughed humored by his old friend's words. Both laughs seemed mocking in a sense, though for the most part they were to project the humor Obito found in both situations and this one. Though the laugh sounded more like when Obito wore his mask rather than when he didn't, the movements, however, were the contrary."Well, that is reality. And I know what reality is.............either way, I'll be the one who will lead humanity to the next step, I'll make a world where everyone can be happy! I am going to bring eternal peace! I am going to bring forth, the Infinite Tsukuyomi!" He said, before exclaiming. His grin returned, wider than ever. Saying that even if the whole world, the flawed reality was against him, he'd find a way to accomplish his long-standing desire. He was rather patriotic right now, but not for a country, for a plan. For the Eye of the Moon plan! Just like when Naruto and Bee claimed they were going to rip Obito's mask off, Obito done the same gesture he done whilst telling them that achieving such a feat would not be easy. Bringing his right hand in front of his face, or rather, his mask. He brought his hand, fingers spread apart, aiming towards the sky, in front of about half his mask, not above his eyes, though. That wasn't the only time he used his hands to express himself, especially when talking about the promised time. Before he fought Kakashi, Guy, Bee, and Naruto he expressed his goals and seeing that their assumption that the Ten Tails had to be fully revived to accomplish his desires was false, he corrected them and while he was doing that, he brought his hand closer to him, looking at it. Looking at it as if he was a ghost, as if he wasn't there. After all, he did say.'Then reality will come to an end.' Right when he was doing that. So perhaps he was doing this because he wanted to do this gesture to get the idea to them through both verbal and physical depictions. Perhaps he was trying to tell them that after this war, nothing that exist now will matter then! Something he told his four opponents earlier right after they defeated his stolen Tailed Beast. He believed he was the only one who is needed to save the world from its own darkness. All Obito wanted to do was save the world from reality. And with the Eye of the Moon plan, that was possible. His eyes were on his hand for a moment before looking back towards the carving of Hashirama's face. His grin still wide, Obito's eyes looked towards the future, likely not a future Naruto would be proud of, with his flippant words and ideals, but one where the world was brought to peace. Where the world was under moon's moonlit dreamland! He'd do anything so long as it got him closer to the dream world. He was 'the savior' as stated by Madara. He was going to make a world where everyone can be happy. He was going to bring eternal peace. He was going to bring forth the Infinite Tsukuyomi!
